Endowed Chair in Computerized Dentistry at ACTA
At the University of Amsterdam, Academic Center for Densitry Prof.dr.ir. Jef M. van der Zel accepted an endowed chair in computerized dentistry.
ACTA installs NewTom CT scanner
In June 2005 a new CT scanner, which has been under study in the CADDIMA project for more than two years is now installed at Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam at the Department of Dental Maxillofacial Radiology (prof.dr. P.F. van der Stelt).

march 2007 the DIGITAL_DENTAL.NEWS, a new special interest journal, will
be published in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. DIGITAL_DENTAL.NEWS (DDN)
is an independent publication appearing ten times a year and focusing on
digital dental technologies. Therefore, the exclusive content of this
journal is the digitalization of each field of work in dental practices
and laboratories wherever it is logic and possible. CAD/CAM-systems,
CAD/CAM-materials, computer aided implantations, digital radiography

programmes for data processing, computer imaging and e-learning are some
of the journalistic topics DIGITAL_DENTAL.NEWS is dealing with.
As an interdisciplinary journal, DIGITAL_DENTAL.NEWS is directed to ambitious dentists as well as dental technicians, who would like to continue their further education.
